| First ADA Title III Lawsuit As long time before Pinnock & Wakefield Congress and state legislatures created attorney fee statutes. Without these statutes the private bar could not represent people without wealth. Also, these statutes assist governments in enforcing many laws such as ADA.
On September 9, 1992, Theodore A. Pinnock, Esq., filed two ADA Title III cases when the private bar did not desire to pursue ADA litigation. Mr. Pinnock was hoping these two cases and others he filed would encourage the private bar to become interested in representing clients with disabilities. Since 1992, Mr. Pinnock, David C. Wakefield and Michelle L. Wakefield have taken in excess of a thousand ADA cases. Pinnock & Wakefield have selected a brief summation of the impact cases from its 15 year history for this site. The above information can be independently verified through state and federal public documents. |
